Beeping After I Lock The Dorr

I drive a '08 CX-9 GT edition, I've noticed lately once I've exited the vehicle and lock the door as I walk away the vehicle rattles off a series of beeps, 4 to 6 beeps I believe I really never counted, Does anyone know why, it never did that before.

May be your battery in the key fob getting low....

Does it still lock? It will do that if the other key is in it, but it won't lock.
