beat a 2004 6cy eclipse tonight!

i am stock engine wise pretty much and have coil overs for suspension but my boy and i were playing around on a s turn tonight and i flew past him when he lost control at the same speed,hit the curb and broke his front axle.......... there is a more detailed account here http://www.mazdamp3.com/vbb230/showthread.php?s=&threadid=37610
but in a ghetto way i won throught the turns!!

no actually the car was whooping my ass up the hill on the straight away but when we got to the turns i just didnt lose control..... we have a rematch on the straight aways when i get my turbo in this month!! and he replaces his whole suspension!!

yeah, I let an '04 eclipse know it's not the s*** too just yesterday...it was in front of me & hit the gas & tried to pull away....I just walked right up her ass til she backed it off...I didn't downshift & try to kill her, just let her know that I was knocking on the door. Not a kill, but my MSP is stock, and it was a GT in front of me...so I think I could pull it if I wanted too....I'll just have to wait & see!

I raced a kid in my recently-flashed MSP vs his V6 eclipse... I even had winter tires on. I smoked the s*** out of him, never reved over 5k, and ***** his ass, later on he tried to fly by and i dropped to 3rd and almost instantly pulled even with him, then blew his doors off again. they are laffable.

Yup, the worst thing Mitsu ever did was put a V6 in the Eclipse. What a turd. The older body styles were much quicker.

Agreed....the older style had the 4g63 engine....same as the EVO...oh well, they'll phase that POS out now that the EVO is stateside.
