bc coilovers + camber kit?

A quick side question. I have heard from a few people that you need to get a wheel aligment done everytime you change the height you set your coilovers at. is this true?

They do have the Blank or Non Adjustable Top Plates on them, so the fronts are easy to install.

And It is recommended to do a wheel alignment after any change to the right height.

Yep, pretty much... A change in height will alter camber and caster settings. That why when you change your stock springs or springs in general, you need to align your car... Of course you can get away with not aligning your ride if you slightly alter the height, but ideally, you'd want to re-align. Same thing goes when you change tire sizes, you have to re-align to re-set the contact patch...

I want a coilover set, though I just want to install, adjust it, and forget about it... This is leading me to think that I may just want to go with simple springs... I just wish there were some adjustable aftermarket shocks/struts out there...maybe some Konis...?

This reply would be towards Shagwagn how low do those Bc's go can you tuck tire all the way around im stuck between h&r's or BC's. i've seen pic's of h&r's and they go hella low but the BC's dont seem too

No you can not tuck the wheels on BCs, you can go right down to the tire with 18s, the way it should be. But WHY would you want to tuck the tires? How would you turn? I am running 225s on 18s dropped to the tire, maybe 1/2 a finger space and there is barely room to turn the front wheels. Furthermore every time you adjust the height you have to get your alignment done again so this isn't something you are going to be fiddling with. Just giving you some pointers, maybe that stuff doesn't matter to you.

guys i spoke with bc today, here is exactly whats going on...

early versions had front camber plates...but since they didnt fit perfectly they got rid of the camber plates. they will be making 2 versions. 1 is pillowball mount only (like what your getting now) with springs so you can drop it lower.

and the other is one with front camber plates that is designed to give the best handling. not yet available.
