BBS CH Wheels on my Black P5

Ok I have always loved these wheels. I have seen them on a few cars but they are pretty rare. Meaning not alot of people have them. anyway Was trying to do research and see if they even fit cause I found out I could get them for like $1600 with tires and they don't weigh that much. Hadn't really considered it for the P5, I guess I had just kind of forgotten about them when I started looking at volks and such. Well I found this pic today

And wondered how it would look on my P5. I am going to try and photoshop it later but what fo you guys think. A set of 17x8 BBS CH powdercoated black (maybe the same metallic as my car) ????

But too bad it won't fit. lol. If you can get that price I'm sure we can get you the same price as long as those are new. Maybe even better price. BUt they won't fit so that's a problem. Don't punish yourself.

Damn Damn Damn Damn. So rishie is it an offset issue? I am really stuck on what direction to go with my car. One day it is clean with something like a RH C3 Evo and the next it is full on jdm with volk se37 and then Hey wait a second. Do they make the BBS LM in a fitment for my car. Hmmmm I've seen the centers powdercoated black onthose with the polished lip and wow. What do you think Rishie>>

It's a width issue, that wide, the offset won't even matter. You'll rub anyway you cut it. lol. Go JDM. You know i can hook you up on Volk.

Peace, Rishie

Frikin' LM's = $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Sick ass wheel though. I would have no problems doing that. I'd have to find a good recipe for that wheel. I can call BBS when you're really interested.

I posted about the BBS LMs before but nobody responded. Wheelmax or Tire Rack or one of those places lists them as fitting but the highest offset I found for them on-line was +42 and they are 7.5" if I recall.

God those 2 jettas look sick in front of that building. I like the RC lightweights in the last pic. Actually had a set of them on my corrado for a little while but ended up selling them. Personally don't think they would look that good on a P5. Not sure why just not the look I am going for. But I am really thinking about the LMs powdercoated balck to match the car. I think that would look sick. Leave the polished lip. Now thats yummmmmmmm. So I guess I am down to the LMs or the Volks LE or SE 37.

BTW thanks rishie for the advice and help. I'll let you know once I finally make up my damn mind.

ahhhhhhhh Enkei RPM2 in Hyper black. Nice lightweight wheel and price isn't oo bad but there is just something that keeps me from going with those. May be the same problem I have with the RC lightweights. I think the face of them is just a little too flat. It should have more lip or depth to the face. I've seen them in person though an they are good looking wheels. I figure I will use those as a fall back if none of the other rims I want will work or look right.

Yeah I have seen those too but never in person. Would like to see them in person before I make my decision because some pics I have seen make the wheel look good and other pics make it look bad. But thanks for the suggestion just the same.

no prob. $216 to $275 a wheel is steep! and at 22lbs. to 25lbs. I'd like to see lighter for that price

does anyone know how to get ahold of rishie, i would like to talk to him about some rims. i am looking at 18's, possibly this week, if not next week.

I'm here. Just PM me with your question. I'll see what I can do. Maybe you already did. I'll check. If not give me the details on budget and location.

Later, Rishie
