BatCaps? Will it help?

Ok here is my system rundown.

Kenwood KVT910DVD
2 Accele 5 inch Headrest Monitors
Kenwood DVD Changer
Kenwood KTCSR901 Sirius Tuner
Polk Momo 6.5 Components (fronts)
Polk EX3 6.5 Components (rears)
JBL BP600.1 (sub amp running at 2 ohms)
JBL P80.4 (4 channel amp)
2 Infinity 1230w Subwoofers (Ported box)
Monster Cable 1 Farad Capacitor
Optima Red Top Battery
1/0 AWG Monster Cable Power and Ground Wire going into the cap and 4 AWG wire going into the amps

I have a really serious problem with my lights dimming, I mean a real problem. It is bad. Now I have upgraded the main ground from the battery to the frame with some spare 1/0 and also a ground wire I found on the other side of the engine bay. What should I do? I am thinking of the batcap 300 or 400. will this help at all. Should I do the batcap and do all new ground points in the engine bay as well. I know I may not get rid of the light dimming completely but I want to help regulate my voltage. Right now it is constantly changing drastically and I am afraid of hurting my battery or alternator. Please help with any advice.

Thanks

Ground the battery to the engine directly not the frame.
Also replace the wire from the alternator to the fuse box then to the battery.

Then I would upgrade the battery. Optimas always have worked for me but there are plenty others. The protege battery is rather weak.

I already own a red top optima are you saying replace it?

Do you have pics of what wires to replace under the hood?
or are you selling the kits to ground everything?

I have a kit that includes a ground to the engine but I would suggest for you to do the positive wires form the alternator. Factory is only 2 8 gugae wires.

I wan't aware of the optima you have so no need to replace that.

ok, how hard is it to get to the cables on the alternator and then to the fuse box? also, did you mean to replace my red top or did you think i had the stock battery? what is included in your kit and how much is it? Also, what color are your cables? I have Monster Cable blue under the hood and was wanting to stay with the same if possible.

I use any color monster cable avaialbe in my kits but they won't help you much. I think the best thing to start with is th alternator positive wires.

I thought you had a stock battery.

The alternator is bit of a pain but the fuse box is very easy, its just under the hood, very accessable.

i think I am going to do the alternator thing, the ground kit and the batcap. how involved is getting to the alternator? is it easier to get under the car to it or from the top of the engine? could you tell me more of your ground kit? what is included, does it come with instructions/pics? also, do you AOL IM, this would be easier then.

Will your ground kit work on my 2002 Protege 5 Automatic?

Here is a pic of my battery setup with my Monster Clamps and 1/0 wire.

will this work on my 02 Auto Protege 5 for sure?

do you have AOL IM?

one more question then I will let you go, i need 2 wires for the alternator right? one from the battery to the alternator, and then one from the alternator to the fuse box right?

Thanks for all your help.

no one wire goes from the battery to the fuse box, then another goes from the fuse box to the alternator.

It will definitly fit a 2002 P5 but its the auto that presents the problem. I will know soon if it will fit an auto 100%. I have already accounted for if it doens't but I am almost positive it will fit an auto.

If all the wires don't fit the kit can still be used but with two less wires.
