I like DG's products and the support that they show the Pro community,BUT,I have seen the interior kit first hand from 2 different members cars and the Glovebox piece fit like crap.No matter how you positioned it,it would never fit right. As a matter of fact in my eyes ,the whole interior kit did not fit quite up to my standards at all.DaViper said:How about you prove the perfect fitment of the glovebox piece? I'd like to see the first pictures of one of these glovebox pieces fitting right and covering the whole area. I look forward to the pictures

s*** happens man its no big deal. occasionally you will recieve a poor fitting product from anyone that makes these tough to make molds, like matt was saying, its hard to make a mold from a bumpy piece like that.DaViper said:After seeing Matthew's pictures I am very surprised. I was definetily wrong about these pieces, and I apologize for acusing DGM of a quality it looks like they do have. I'm going to request my money back from the person I got this from and probably buy a new one from DGM for a little bit more than I paid for this.
Once again, I was wrong and it was just this old piece that doesn't fit well. When I get a new one I'll write a review of its fitment. Sorry for my ignorance.....

Yea that sucker wont go down. I have since got better tape and corrected it.Matthew said:i guess the part that is off is the left side near the cupholders?
i never thought of that...especially if he glued it like me...i glued down all my pieces except my radio trim and armrest to make sure they would never come up...i could always get the parts if i needed to to replace the stock pieces i ruined with glue. i prolly would have been alright if i had taken off the armor all first (hand)mp5jeff said:daviper, the guy probably ****** the piece up when he was taking it off his car(probably with a flathead screwdriver), ever think about that? i would definately take it up with him like you said.
i would also use glue if need be...after all, i could care less if i ruined my stock parts, they scratch SO easily, they look like s*** anyhow.pimpprotege69 said:Yea that sucker wont go down. I have since got better tape and corrected it.
i will say that i have seen one other kit, and it was pirana's. the fitament was pretty good IIRC but it was a bit bubbled...but i have come to see that small bubbles i have even on random places of my APC hood...i think its just a fact of life with CF...now big bubbles that are noticable are unacceptable, but tiny ones that you can barely notice if i didnt point them out are fine.I do not offer an apology as i said nothing wrong,BUT ,I do stand corrected.
The two kits I personally saw were horribble fitting and looked just like davipers. The edges are what turned me off the most but Matthew, yours looks to fit GREAT!i am impressed.
Once again Matthew and Amie have come through to show us what they can do.
I will say that it seems that the consistincy is not seeming to be there on the older products.
I Still plan on buying parts in the future and said so in my previous post. This just re-assures me that DG has turned around for the best.
Matt
im an idiot i glued the piss outta everything because i thought it was just the tape...so then i went and bought that s*** you are talking about and it even fell off... i wish i would have used common sense and removed the armor all...ill prolly pay out the ass if i ever need to replace that crap that i ruined lol.mypfizzle said:you may want to try 3m outdoor adhesive. -=) its what i use for everything.. sticky as hell and is very resistant to heat..
on a lighter note.. i did just get a part from dg.. the wrong part was shipped to me and amie quickly corrected it. when my replacement parts get here i will post pictures.
i have seen quite a change from dg.. and like it or not. i have quite a few products from them on my car. -=)
enjoy.
