Yellow 2002 P5
Well, I just got back from the dealership, and am the proud owner of an '02 P5. We had an 86 626 until a few years ago (my wife's parents bought it new and gave it to her in High School) and we drove that thing into the ground - 285,000 miles, and the only problem when we got rid of it was the altenator!

I'll post some pics tomorrow, but here are the specs:

Exterior:
Vivid Yellow
Chrome Mazda Rims (16")
Falken GR-B Tires
Moonroof w/ Deflector
Roof Rack
Tinted Windows

Interior:
Cloth (for now - love those black and Yellow leathers floating around)
Factory CD/Tape (for now)
Some cheap-ass pedal covers - going real soon

Engine/Trans:
Stock 2.0 w/ 38,000 miles
5 Speed

I've been lurking for a while, and already driving my wife crazy with plans for this thing - damn that whole "money has to pay the bills and food first" concept!

Upgrade plans:
17" wheels (the wife loves the MSP wheels, so that's going to be one of the first)
Leather Interior
New stereo
small subwoofer (just to fill it out and still have room for something!)
Short throw shifter
intake modification (ULEV? What's that? LOL)
Turbo Kit (Later my wife keeps saying, but she's a speed freak - I'm sure it won't be THAT long (thumb) )
and, of course, lots of stuff I haven't even thought about yet....

More pics tomorrow - corrupt my financial plan guys!

Congrats! welcome aboard. That's about the exact same car my g/f just picked up earlier this summer. Where you from? there's alotta local club action all around. PLus it's always ncie to have an experienced hand to helpout with mods. DO that shortshifter FAST, the stock throw used to really annoy me.

Welcome (hi)

You've picked the right color, my friend (thumb)

I'm from Akron, OH, and I just installed a remote starter that I had around here from Christmas a few years ago. Nice to have a neutral switch built in!

I agree with the shortshifter - this one does seem pretty long. Christmas isn't too far off! (hump)

I've done quite a bit with electronics and some engine stuff, but it would be cool to get involved with others around here!

Anyway, time to crash - see ya all later!

Yeah - nothing like the yellow (nana)

We looked at the black and red too - but Steph (my wife) fell in love with that DMV Citation Yellow - now lets see if I get away with as much as I did when I had my GOLD STRATUS! (no)

LOL
