back glass vibrating?

went out for a drive tonight (ice all over my back glass) and the back windshield was vibrating (well- something inside)

it was VERY annoying.

anyone else have this problem?

the mazda dealership keeps saying they hear a rattle in the backseat-ish area like maybe the rear deck is loose but i dont hear it and i cant find anything loose so i dunno.

it is something on the rear deck...

my car vibrates like crazy though...

so it makes minor noises worse and makes them loosen more...


but its all worth it

i make my own rattles worse, 2 10" in the trunk tends to make s*** rattle

try the AWR engine mounts...


i have 3 screws that unscrewed themselves...


it vibrates like crazy

Its a common mazda problem. The rear deck my mx6 has been loose for years. My mp3 hasn't started doing it yet though.

AWR motor mounts SUCK!
It is hard to hear the rear deck over the thousands of other rattles.

I love my motor mounts. Its personal preference I think. Stuff does rattle, but its worth it to me.

Here's one...the other night, I'm idling at a light and I hear this obvious rattle (even the g/f noticed, which means it has to be loud) I'm already frustrated because the front dash rattles so much it sounds like its going to fall onto the front passengers' legs...I get up to get out of the car (once I get home, not at the light ) (because this particular noise sounded like it was in the engine), and pop the hood...noise stops (hm)...close the hood again, same rattle. Well, the hood rattles at idle even when fully shut and latched. Aint that fun?!!
As much as I enjoy my car, I enjoy hating it more.

i love my motor mounts also...

they are a great mod for any protege...

some people are too picky with their car...


im actually going to get inserts to fill my other 2 mounts...
