AWR 70 Duro Rear Motor Mount

Well, I just installed my AWR 70 duro rear motor mount, and I still feel the shift thump when shifting from 1st to 2nd. I usually only feel it when I take he up to high rpms in 1st and then drop to second. Does anyone else still feel the thump? Maybe its all in my head or maybe I am letting the clutch out too fast. Just wanted to get some opinions from others running this mount. Let me know. Thanks!

I just installed the full set of AWR motor and the trans mount in 70 duro. I don't feel the thump at all. I also replace my shift weight with Cobbs.

I still feel it after putting the SU mount on, but I can't remember now if it was completely gone at first, and then came back... or if the mount reduced it, and now I'm used to that reduced thump so it still feels like it's there.

How difficult was the trans mount to install? How are the vibes in the cabin with both installed? I can hardly tell the differnence between the stock mount and the awr 70 duro in regard to vibes (which is a plus), but still feeling the shift thump a little bit. If the trans mount doesn't increase the vibes that much, that might be my next mod.

I replaced all three mounts and there is a noticeable difference. Idling, accel,and decel you can feel much more. I would describe them as higher end vibes where as when the AC kicks on its a lower end vibration but very noticable. The AWR mounts are outstanding and really well made.

Just to confirm I am understanding you correctly...with all 3 mounts installed, vibrations are really noticable, but the shift thump is gone. Correct?

That is correct, and please don't take noticeable as a bad thing. I don't believe my wife noticed but she was oblivious to the upgrades.

I still feel thumps with my SU. But they are much softer. Doesn't slam like it does stock.
