I am not sure about other models, but the 2008 CX-9 only has a warning light in the instrument cluster that comes on when one or more tire sensors report an abnormal (low) tire pressure. I have learned that the sensor in each individual tire actually wirelessly reports the pressure (and temperature) of that tire to the board computer, but that we do not have the ability to intercept or read this data on our nav or status screen. Not even my super fancy OBDII scanner can't see any of that info.
Does anyone know if there are any aftermarket devices that I can buy that would enable me to monitor my tire pressure using Mazda's already existent TPMS sensors?
I do not want to change anything on the car itself, I am totally happy with it as it is, but I would like to see the tire pressure on all tires as I drive.
