In the UK they say the Mazda 3 MPS will be electronically limited to 155mph. But like audis amongst others, this just doesnt happen.

Even if it is limited at 155...that's faster than most people should ever be allowed to go.

I dont know when I have seen mlutiple writeups on an OEM car in SCC before. Only multiple future preview writeups, one feature, and then a project car or modified one. Either they really love it or are more in the pocket of (biased) the highest paying auto maker than ever..

well,i beleive the 3 speed is pretty fast,but to say that it left an A8 in the dust on the autobahn,that seem to be a bit ridiculous,thoses audi s are beasts on highways,maybe he just didnt push it....

its really fast for a small car,but be reallist,no way it can eat an A8 at that speed,on a take off,i d beleive it,but after 100mph,no way!(glare)

It's not that the 3 left the A8 in it's dust, its more like the A8 was tailgating the heck outta the MS3 and when they got to a de-restricted speed zone, the A8 driver was surprised at how quick the little red hatch accelerated to warp speed.

MS3 White.

I just got of the phone with my paint guy and we are going to do a little project with our MS3. It is going to be painted white, 7 layers of base and 7 layers of clear. I will post picture of it by the end of the year.(shocked)

I was under the impression that Mazda is basically pushing the Direct Injection motor as far as they could boost wise and that this car/motor couldn't handle much more. Besides, who wants 300+ hp all being handled by the front wheels. Can you say torque steer? Just my opinion folks.

Holy cow (does anybody say that anymore?) that is fast....Why can't we have autobahns here in the states? What fun it must be to go that fast and not worry about being arrested after the next rise.

And, I'd love a white one too -- very, very cool!
