Automatic Relocking

ive got a 2007 GT ms6, and the default setting for the automatic re locking is set to off. does anyone know how to turn it on? this is what its suppose to do if u turn it on.

Automatic Locks (RKE): If the doors are unlocked and a door is not
opened within 30 seconds, all doors relock. If the doors are unlocked and
the transmitter leaves the 2.5 foot reception zone, the doors will relock
after 3-seconds (factory default is OFF)

i have found some directions but still dont know what its saying to do...
To change these features:
1. ID the vehicle
2. Select: Toolbox
3. Select: Module Programming
4. Select: Programmable Parameters
5. Select: RKE
6. Select the function and change it to ON or OFF as desired

i have no idea what its saying to do.

Most likely that's the instructions for re-initializing it in the MDS (dealer) program. I don't think there's a sequence that an owner can do to reset that. You'll have to contact your dealer and inquire on this.

The dealer is charging me $99 to do the change! the dealer kinda made a deal my 30000 mile maintence is coming up so they said if i do it with them then they'll to the change for free.

If you were local Id do it for ya for free.... I turned off the seatbelt minder on my VRMS6 and am happier without it....

man i wish i was lol ! That seatbelt minder is annoying, but its not as bad as cuz's civic si where the sound is loud as hell and it keeps coming back lol. the one the ms6 is ok to deal with it doesnt come back and its not as loud lol.

guess ill just have to wait to do it when i get the 30,000 mile done. thanks!
