autocross anyone?

i was just wondering about how much interest there is in trying to get a bunch of mazda peeps to an autocross this year in the western mi. area.
I just think it would kick ass having a shitload of mazdas at at least one and mabee start the addiction in a few more people in the area!!!(wrc) (drive)

i sure as hell want to get into autocrossing...i've never done it, but i was already planning on going w/chris and others, so come join us...i have no clue where they take place though, but we are on the east side

it will be near grand rapids at abc autoauction ( i think) it is just a little south on 131. it is a pretty big lot and is alot of fun. (nana)

i have been autoxing for the last three years. i used to run with a 93 celica gts. But with the demise of that car (on my way to sign the papers for my speed)

you can see the results of most of my runs at furrin.org i am in ds with the speed. (DANG S4) they also have a schedule for the year that they are putting on.

i have never been autoxing. But its definently on my "to-do list" for this summer. its something i definently want to get into. Let's do it. i dont have any problems organizing anything.

April 4th at the GM Cadillac plant on Mt. Elliot looks like the first auto-x event.

April 24/25 is the driving school. This is the best event you can go to all year, especially as a newbie. You can get a lot more seat time, than any other event.

Checkout the page I listed above. If you get a SCCA membership, you'll get a discount, and save over the season. But without a discont, it's usually around $30 or so. Road course events are a little more, but definitely worth it. Again, the driving school is the best thing for getting started. Even if you can't drive, you can usually get a ride with somebody else if you just ask them.

I have been autox ing for years now and still havent gotten off my ass to go to school... as soon as myautoevents is up and running i just might sign up. it didn't load when i tried to go there.

it also looks like we have a few interested so that shows promise of extreme coolness.(wrc)
