auto transmission issues

hello all, wondering if anybody can help me with transmission issue. I have a 2002 Protege ES/GT Auto trans 2.0L. Car starts fine,get reverse and 1st gear only. when in drive, trans stays in 1st gear and won't shift. Any ideas?

ok, now the od lindicator is flashing steadily. any ideas?

Take it to a transmission shop....

The flashing light is an indicator of a problem. Hopefully just a sensor. Good luck!

My 2002 ES auto's OD button hasn't worked for about a year now. I'm too lazy to take it to the dealership.

Best thing to do is take it to a dealer, because i think protege warranty will cover the everything. i had a issue with my tranmission and i got it fixed at a dealer. i payed $78 because i needed some part not cover in warranty. give a try bud.
