I hadn't done much work on the paint over the last couple years, and it was starting to show. I was keeping up on the washes, but I was only putting on a single coat of Z2 every 6 months or so for maintenance. Gave her some love today, and so far she's cleaning up better than I was expecting.

The wash process took an hour by itself... rinsing, dawn washing, re-rinsing, and drying each panel individually. Damn this black car in the summer, but me hates water spots.

Then it was on to the poorboys. The entire car got a double job with the SSR1 and old propel blue. Then I hit the trouble spots with SSR2.5 and the propel green, and over them again with the SSR1/blue. The paint is as smooth as silk, and looks awesome.

Finished up the evening with windows inside and out, and then a Zaino window glaze treatment. I forgot how much work this is, my arms are definitely tired from all of the work with the porter cable.

Still left on the "to do" list for tomorrow:

Vacuum
Dash and interior panels
Floormat shampoo
Tires
Wheels
Rewash (come on clouds help me out this time)
Z2 first coat, with grey propel
Door sills, trunk sill, gas cap bay
Mirrors
Z2 second coat, by hand
Zaino spray for touchups underhood

Long day ahead of me, but it will be nice knowing that my baby is protected for awhile, so well worth the trouble. More pics to come as I get the other stuff done.

that looks incredible! Where can you get it? I may have to do the same this weekend.

I love PB products. I'm surprised you don't put a final coat of PB Natty's Paste wax (blue) on. I love the stuff.

I can't even find the SSR products at the poorboys site anymore. Not sure if they discontinued that line or what. A couple of detailing places still carry it on their sites, but I do not know who has the best price. Shop around for it, you won't find it in any stores though.

Make sure to apply with a porter cable... trying to get the same effects by hand is a worthless venture. :)

Been out of the game for awhile sadly... I am not sure what kind of products have come out over the last couple years. :(

oh.....is PB the same brand that makes the DSR? If so, i used this to get the side molding goo off my former protege. Great product and i didnt know they made wax.

I don't think so... pretty sure that the DSR stuff you are talking about is made by the PB blaster folks (which definitely gets much love in my garage), lol.

SSR line is still there. Its under the Super Swirl Removers menu option.

So shiny rich, now the new mexico dust and will just fly right off of the paint. I pray it doesn't rain ;)
I need to invest in some poorboys products.

Thank you kindly. I knew that I probably just didn't look hard enough, haha.
