ATV's 4 wheelers?

anyone ride ATV's for fun... my friend has a Yamaha Raptor 660R and got a chance to learn how to ride them. wow what an experience. was a little hard to get used to shifting gears but once you get the hang of it, its fun. Its a pretty fast little piece of equipment can max out at 85MPH, which is pretty dam quick for a 4 wheeler. anyone else ride them or got pics of what they got???

Ok let me get this straight..... you learned to ride on a raptor. DAMN I have ridden those and would have to say NOT FOR BEGINNERS. I used to work in a motorcycle shop part time in Matthews, NC and we sold the raptors when they first came out and I can't tell you how many guys would bring them back in to try and sell them like a month after buying because it was too much for them to handle. Glad you had fun Just be careful as Atv's are somewhat prone to flipping. If you really wanna have fun hop on a polaris 250 I think it is the trailblazer. It's basically a 250cc dirtbike that is an automatic and has 4 wheels. We used to tear up the trails with those things . BTW they do wicked donuts too since you don't have to worry about shifting or clutch or anything makes them quite easy to ride.

i wanna get one now since my friend has one so we can go riding... whats a good one that could keep up with the raptor but not have the price tag of it???

If you can find a used one get a Honda 250R not the 250X but the 250R; its the 250X's two stroke brother. They dont make them anymore but a used one shouldn't be hard to find as everybody and their brother-in-law races em. Another couple would be 400EX Honda, LT250 Suzuki, Polaris 400 sport, I would try for something between the 250-400CC range if you haven't ridden much, it's just gonna be hard trying to keep up with a raptor with much less than 400cc's unless you went two-stroke. If you dont mind peky power bands then the Yamaha 350 Banshee will keep up that maxs between 70 and 80MPH
