Attn Website Designers..I need a site designed for my Father!

(attn) All professional website designers / Mazda Forums Members!

I would like to have a nice website designed for my Father's business which is Ice, Fruit and Wood Carving. I had set up a simple site years ago but it's about time he had a real professional site.

My parents live out in SoCal so it's a plus if you're located there as well but not absolutely necessary.

I will assist my Father throughout the entire process from selecting a designer to launching the new website.

The domain name & hosting are already taken care of :)

The site will need to encompass several different elements such as media content (pics & vids), interactive features, an online store etc in addition the "standard" website basics. I would like the site to be enjoyable for everyone...not just potential clients!

You can "apply" here or via PM...Please include the following information:

- Your FULL Name
- Business license number
- Company Name and address
- Mazda Forums Username
- Contact Information (phone, e-mail)
- Website or Online portfolio
- Skills, Software and Certificates
- Specialized Skills
- # of years you've been designing websites professionally
- Why you would like to design my Father's website

Thank you for checking out this request and I look forward to reviewing those apps! :D

I think one of the guys in our GACC group does Website design...I'll PM him the thread...

I do everything but e-commerce. Print, web, interactive. www.altspace.com

Note that my portfolio site has not been updated in awhile because I also work full time as an Interactive Designer for the firm Manasian.com

Yeah...I recall now that you design sites (thumb)...Can you hook me up with some more recent sites you've completed? Thanks!

I've been producing more interactive pieces lately. Interactive sales demonstrations for web and CD-Rom distribution, that sort of thing.

We just launched a redesign of our company website www.manasian.com
Quite a few other websites are in the works, but overall much of my work has been in the technology field. Though I've stepped out of that and produced other styles of sites as well over the years.

Nice work Lexi. I dig your stuff.

thanks altspace...coming from you i think i just wet my pants...jk but really thanks, complements do mean a lot. I remember looking at your site a long time back and it is also very nice. I envy your flash skills.. I am currently trying to learn more about flash. I can get in and do some minor action scripting and find my way around just fine but I would like to know more. I actually have a potential project to design and develop a site in flash so that will greatly help me learn although I am a little gun shy...

I used vista prints for my business cards a few years ago. Nice work on that site.

I'm the GACC'er racerxgirl mentioned. I can work on the front end if you need someone with mad html/css skills. I haven't done any e-commerce before but I think I could pick it up pretty easily. Right now I'm working at cnn.com but I could find some time to work in some coding :)

Thanks for the additional links and responses guys...I haven't narrowed down a choice or development plan as of yet so if there are more members out there interested in this project...Post and let me know! :D

Not sure if I'm helping or not but it seems that you have a lot of talented UI guys. I'm a web application developer in San Diego and work primarily in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, AJAX, etc. in a Linux environment. I'm not very good at creative UI but if you end up needing someone for back end programming, I have years of experience there.

Good luck.
