The guy Grant whom everyone is calling to get their numbers just called me back and told me to post this to everyone. THE NUMBERS ARE WRONG THEY WERE MIXED UP, WE ARE STILL TRYING TO GET THE CORRECT PRODUCTION NUMBERS, TRY BACK IN THE FUTURE WE SHOULD HAVE THEM. AS OF NOW THE NUMBERS GIVEN ARE RANDOM NUMBERS AND DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH YOUR PRODUCTION NUMBER. He said that the numbers got all mixed up and everything and he has been just giving off random numbers without knowing it, he apologizes and wants everyone to know they should be getting the correct ones in, in the future.Sorry guys, before he called me back i was #1568.....Later
 
Yea no offense to you at all Steph I was excited when I got my number haha..... but he did say that they are trying to get them in still and could try back in the future. Who knows maybe you have #1 and you dont even know it :) I would actually be curious to narrow it down to what number orange i have.... or what number the black MSPs have. Someone could be #50 out of everyone but #1 out of all the Oranges. Later
 
Dont worry about it Grant was as stunned as we are haha. He like was apologizing and stuff he felt really bad he was giving false numbers. Oh well he tried to help us its cool. Later
 
I guess the girl that helped me had the same info as Grant, so I'm sure mine is wrong, also.

Ya its cool, you have done alot for us already with the intake and all. How is that coming? Hope they get everything straight on your car. I went ahead and grabbed a K&N until the intake comes out, my funds are a little bit low since the car payments started. Im off to class, its a 3 hours one tonight NNOOOOO!! haha Later

Thanks for the info!! I called the number and apparently the lady has been fielding calls all day for production #'s for MazdaSpeeds. An interesting piece of information she shared: The MazdaSpeed, according to her, doesn't have an actual production #?? She said they have an ordered list of VIN's and the # is the position in that list :( She begged me to post that info on the board. Maybe there is a disconnect in their office or something. Did you select MazdaSpeed from the menu, or customer support? I went to customer support. Maybe the MazdaSpeed department has the actual production number.
She said she did have the production number for the MP3, mine is #1466.

why can't you MSP people just accept the fact that only MP3s have its own production number, while the MSPs just roll down the assembly line with the rest of the Proteges???

(yeah you MP3 people can start bragging)
 
i just got of the phone with grant(called before i read this thread) and he confirmed the spreadsheet story. and he seems like a really nice guy who is more than happy tp help us out. i asked for a ballpark eta on the numbers and he said about a month or two(mazdaspeed owners have heard that one before!!!!!!) but to please post this to stop some of the calls.

whatever, its just hard to keep track whats going on when different info is being posted in 3 different threads about the same Production # topic
