I think you will be better off with protege headlights since P5 have dual bulbs and protege has a single bulb

atually i would like to switch my mp3 from its headlights to P5 dual bulb lights. i do have a stupid question though. i noticed that the price is going to be $880 bucks for two lights before shipping. What does the $440 for each side include. is that just for the housing. or does the price include housing, bulbs, ignitor for the HID. I mean to have EDM HID in my car do i need any thing more then what is above in the part number.

Yeah there is two versions. There is one for dual bulbs and one for single bulbs...

wll no, see working at a body shop, I learned just how easily it is to aim yoru headlights using an 8mm socket on the top and side of the headlight, JDM or not, they are the same

They are not the same. The headlights are showing like this ( on the wall ):

Europe and USA ---/ ---/

Japan and UK \--- \---

The light goes up on the side of the road.

ok a question for those thinking of getting these headlight...WHY?

I mean besides going from single to dual bulb there is no reason you cant do all the other JDM/EDM style mods yourself.

I am painting my bezels black like in the how to, city lights positioned in the same spot as the EDM's and I am clearing out the turn signal so it is clear plastic with an amber bulb. BY that time they will pretty much look like EDM except my city lights are blue instead of white...(I have to see exactly how blue they will be as I only want a faint blue tint inside or otherwise it will attract cops too much.

BTW...anyone who reads SCC the last issue had a full article on the laws of each state with web url's to find out exactly what is and is not legal in your state as far as lighting, noise, emissions and so forth.

The funniest thing I noticed is although they hate and make illegal colored lights and s*** they dont care how big your spoiler is and if it blocks your entire reas window they dont give a damn....LOL./

Obviously this is all in reverse in most of europe and asia where they drive on the right hand side.

isn't england the only european country to drive on the left?

only the housing, no harnesses or anything. that kind of sucks. that means we would still have to buy the city light harness, trun single harness and the high beam and low beam harness which you know they will bend you over. no thanks.
