ATP Downpipe is now shipping!

I have the CP-E catless downpipe and have a cel on constantly. The light is annoying , but it has no effect on performance. Apparently all it takes is a diode to get rid of the cel, but the light doesn't bother me enough to fix it right now.

On my previos car with headers I had something called an MIL eliminator. It was a little black box that connected to the O2 sensor wiring harness.

All it did was fool the computer to think that cats were still in place. So no CEL.

not true. I'll look into it further but if I'm not mistaken the o2 sensors on the new DISI engines are wideband...the typical MIL's wont work without further engineering.

I'm just planning on using a non-fouler even though I'm not a fan of them.

Our ECM runs the rear O2 sensor test when you droip to 0% throttle input on deceleration(voltage must drop to below~.3 volts within 3 seconds after the ECM cuts fuel).

Because an O2 simulator basically just drops the voltage a set value or bounces the voltage back and forth between ~.7 and ~.2 volts with no relation to the throttle input, a normal O2 simulator might get rid of the catalyst below threshold code, but it will throw the p0139(O2 sensor slow responce) code.

spark plug non fowlers will fix your problem, it will trick the o2 sensor into believeing there is a cat. Do a search for catless MIL, or Non Fouler(sp.?) trick

The CP-E downpipe already has an extension on the rear O2 sensor. My problem is that the spacer is too long and it's slowing down the responce time of the sensor so I'm throwing p0139.

Got a question for anyone that can answer. I have an all stock car and first thing I want to do is dp. Without Cats for both, will the atp give me as more or less hp and torque then the cp-e. Someone please let me know because i cant seem to tell.

I don't think that can be answered since I don't think there have been any independent dyno's of the ATP dp.
