Are the "seatbelt squeak" and "sticking gas cap" documented anywhere?

Just wondering... I'm going to the dealer saturday and wouldn't mind getting those done. Problem is, of course, that the seat belt squeak usually gets worse when it's cold, and the gas cap doesn't always stick, so I'd like to have it in print that these issues are known by Mazda.

However, they're not on the list of TSB's....

I'm sure if your dealer doesn't know about it or have the information they won't acknowledge it as a service bulletin, and you might have to eat the cost yourself

Having said that, the fix for the seatbelt should be easily done yourself with some wd40 or some kind of lubricant (I had this problem and fixed it, squeek free for over a year)

As for the gas cap, maybe a very small amount of grease around the cap threads will help. And I mean very small

In some threads I've seen guys say their dealer "knew about it" and took care of it without any hassle. Far as the seat belt, I can always just wait for it to get cold then take it in. I have used WD40 on it too, but it wears out after a while.

For the gas cap, is it just a matter of replacing the cap? I might do that myself before I go back and forth with the dealer, if they won't do anything about it Saturday.
