april 24th autox

if anyone isn't going to the april mazda drive there will be a autox on the 24th (same day as the drive) in the grand rapids area. anyone is more than welcome to join!!!
I will try to get directions and more info. such as sign in times. (rockon)

anyway. if anyone decides to be a loser like me and skeeze out on the drive to autox. here is some info.
The online registration is now available for the first of many excellent
autocrosses this year. The April 24th
autocross will be held at the ABC auto auction complex on Division Ave.
south of 100th street on the south
side of Grand Rapids. Onsite registration will be from 8:00-9:30am.
Preregistration entries will be held
until 8:45am. (After 8:45 all non-preregistered will be processed.) No
exceptions. There will be a limit of 75 cars
due to lot space. Online preregistration is suggested as these people
will have first chance at entries. Cost
is $15 for FG/SCCA members and $20 for non-members

I hope i dont get extradited for not going to the drive. but alas. i can't be in two places at once(loser)

HOLY CRAP!!!!!I was beginning to think i was going to be the only one not going to the drive!!!!(dunno)
anyway, there is a signup for the event/pre registration at www.myautoevents.com The name of it is wmas#1 there will be an address to get directions from mapquest. or try www.furrin.org they are the ones putting this autox togather. they might have the flyer up by now!!!!!

this is the first one in the area i think. i can't wait(band2)

Don't worry, I will forgive you THIS time beavis!!! (lol2) It was actually poor planning on my part for not knowing the auto-X schedule. There are alot of folks not coming to the drive and/or the BBQ because of auto-X. Well I'm sure we'll see you at other stuff this summer. (2thumbs)

What size is your gord Pat? I have a spare Arai helmet that has just some surface scratches on it. It's a $400.00 helmet. I'd let it go for like $ 75.00. If you have connections with painters, someone could easily refinish it. I have like four helmets and don't need it anymore.

hey pat. don't sweat the helmet thing. they usually have about 8-9 loaner helmets. and heck if you are in a different heat you can try to squeeze your grill into mine. that is if you don't mind kooties...

I haven't decided what time i will be leaving for the bbq yet. caravaning sounds good. I was originally planning to go with my friend kramer but for some reason he wants to sell his wrx(screwy) (protest)
I hope to see you at the autox that would be sweet. it will be the first time there was another protege' at an auto x

Beavis- the bbq is like 11am, i was thinking it takes like 2 hrs to get to that area, we leave like 9am or so ?

I WISH I COULD GO!. im really excited about tryin autox, but th only problem is i have my own business, im the only one that works here and i work 6 days a week, (sunday is my only day off) are there ever events on sunday?

mouse poop racing was my brothers idea. he was going to build a old gti he found for autox. it sat for a few years and smelled like mouse poo. (hence the name) the funniest thing is that he never fixed up the car!!!!!
