i just put a down payment on the new apexi piggi back unit because i got my ecu reflashed (opps!) so that should help me to increase boost w.0 blowing my engine right ?

ohh, so a better more expensive bet would be the unichip then right?

Or go standalone. I put in a Microtech a few months back and love it. . .much better than the stock ecu (I have a MSP kit on my MP3). Runs great and LOTS of power (but I have plenty of other mods).

yeah, microtech or unichip or something like an MPI tuner will work for ya. s-afc are not compatible with the Protege.

what!!?! the guy said it would wrk wiht protege np the last form of it did cuz all they did to this model is make a cool colour screen and some v tec options just so it wrks with honda aswell,,, but those might have came with the previous model... well i guess ill find out wen the place im gonna get it tuned opens on monday

How does the Microtech affect Emission's compliance? From what I've heard, most standalone's are not OBD2 compliant and therefore will not pass emission's in most places that require inspection?
