I think this is what he meant...

----Hey guys I just installed some Apexcone 4500ks HID head lights in my 3.
I got them for around $60, shipped, but I noticed when I was driving on a bumpy road that my headlights seem to be loose.
I checked to make sure the headlamps were tight, and they were, is it normal for the HID's to bounce?

But no, it's not normal; pictures might help in trying to figure out what’s wrong!

projector lighting will always have a "bouncy" light projection as there is no beam pattern on the lense of the headlamp

lolsorry for the wrtiting... yeah what happens is when it is like a cracky road it seems like the light bulbs are loose but i cheked to see if it was on there right u know the little bar thing that holds them in place and they are

It's normaly for the lights to look like they move up and down, a little, but if it's anything major I would say something is wrong.

i dont know if u have ever seen a tahoe going over bumpy road how the fog lights look... its not the normal moving with the car its different like i said it like its loose or better yet like if there is water inside the bulb and u can see it on the road when the car shakes

If the lights are bouncing at a slower rate than the bumbs in the road I would say it's normal. They should also bouce after hitting smooth surface till they even out again.

naaah man this things are moving fast i tried to conact them but havent answere me yet... i also see another thread in here with the same problem

I have the same problem. The bulb is in tight. Light output is great, you hit a bump and you can see the light flicker. I have read elsewhere that it is not uncommon for the 3's to have a loose projector. I took mine into the dealership and they won't touch it because of aftermarket upgrade. I will have to put back to stock for them to touch it. I have also read that the projector is held in place with some clips that may not be holding it real firm.

yeah im thinking of just going back to the regular lights man its really anoying but i dont undertsnd why my uncles doesnt do that he has the stock hids doh
