I have an AWR Radiator which i installed back beginning of August . Awesome fit and finish. Next week i'll post pics.........

With regards to our oil cooler. Yes, it is Water cooled.

So increasing the surface area of our radiator we can in turn lower water temps which will lower oil temps.

AWR also offers a Rad core which is for the Protege and leaves room for an oil cooler.

OEM cooler will work fine until your boosting 15 psi plus ALL THE TIME. GT25 won't start cooking oil until then. Run a good synthetic oil and don't worry.
What fans are you using with your AWR radiator?

I am seriously considering it to go along with my ION FMIC that I have right now. Should I order some slimline fans or more efficient fans so they don't cycle as often?

Bump for an answer...I know this is an old thread.

the awr ones are nice. or you can ask what beau uses for the thumper kit. fal, spal, summitt racing has some. look around I guess. there are a few threads flyin around to. do a search for spal or slimline or something like that.

thanks for the help Vindication.
I have been searching the board today and have only come up with the AWR fans and someone who rigged a couple of fans from Summit.

I have had both.

I rigged a couple of fans from summit, and that worked for a while, until one of them broke.

Now I am running with the fan shroud from AWR and it's a beautfiul piece. I can easily recommend it.

If you don't want to go that far out, I would call Beau and get fans from him. He will help you out.

sorry dude..........but it is!!!!!! all you need to get is the p5 upper rad brackets. msp ones are different! trust me i did it! and have all the parts still. ;)

Do you have any clearance issues with the hood?

Wrxtasy and I just finnished installing the MSP turbo on his P5, but couldn't get the MSP radiator to fit right. We had to remove the lower rubber bushings to get the radiator to sit low enough for the hood to close. I measured the P5 and MSP radiators and the P5 is 1" shorter. That makes it easy to install a P5 radiator in an MSP if you have the upper brackets.

I'd have to see a MSP to be sure, but I think the lower radiator supports are lower than the P5.

There is also a slight spacing difference between the MSP and the MP5 for the lower support...Buit it was close enough that some force got the bushing to sit right....yes, I can confirm also that the mp5 rad is abotu 1 inch shorter. I had to modifiy my stock MSP fans to fit on this smaller rad. I cut a couple of things and made an extension bracket and everything worked fine.
