Anyone know who's MSP this was?

So I bought this MSP a few months ago from a guy in Daphne Alabama. He was a truck driver so never home and didnt get to drive it that much. Said there is a lot of work done to it, From what I see it has a DIY Front mount kit with an Ebay BOV, Relocated MAF, Upgraded front motor mount, and the VTCS or VICS is removed (top runners of intake manifold). Had a Split Second at sometime in its life because the ECU wiring has been tamper with. Also the valve cover has a wisco sticker on it, and in the trunk there is a K1 rods sticker and another wisco sticker? Possibly built sometime in its life? IS there anyway to tell if this is the original motor in the car? It had over 140K on it. Seems to run pretty strong, boost is currently at 7psi. It does eat up oil way to quickly, and gas milage is terrible. Here is some pictures of it, Ive since painted the rims and added TRS projectors.

I don't know who owned it but it appears that they learned some info on how to mod it from this forum. That doesn't look like the stock T25 turbo, if it is it the compressor housing has been clocked. Otherwise it may be a T28. I see a wire tap, is that on the primary O2 wires? If the car has a narrow band O2 it would be best to sell it and install a true wideband gauge. You can also see at least 2-3 cracks in the turbo manifold, replacing the motor mounts to solid mounts will keep from cracking a new mani if you replace it. Also replacing the stock heat shield is not a bad idea, plenty of people run without it but it was installed there for a reason.

Its a garrett turbo, but it has been cocked for the FMIC install. There is no afr gauge, I have one I can install but would I be able to keep the ecu happy? Only have the front
And rears upgraded. Didnt want to spend to much and find out i have a dieing motor. .

The Wideband gauge does not hook up to the ECU it is used for tuning the car. Most people run garret turbos, a T28 is also made by garrett (Honeywell). I would recommend at least replacing the passenger side mount as well, they fail easily because of their design.

Ok, so I would need a second o2 bun welded in to run a wide band. No one has figured out how to keep the ecu happy if running just the wideband? Can't tie the wiring in to the ecu.

What are you talking about? The WBO2 will NOT tie into your ECU. It is a way to monitor the engines air to fuel ratio and does nothing to the tune. You will not wire into your ECU for an reason. Unless you're running a standalone which I doubt there's no input to the factory ECU for a WBO2. I hope I'm not coming off like an ass just want to get it clear.

I know exactly what the wideband is for. I am wanting to know if there is anyway to run the wide band without having to get a second o2 bung welded in. I highly doubt the car would run correctly if I just remove thd primary o2 from the exhaust stream. SO for the guys that have AFR gauges do you get a second bung welded in OR can you tap into the widebands o2 signal so the ecu can read it?

I miss my MS3
.

Damn well read some threads looks like ill have to get a bung welded in. Thanks. Hopefully a prior owner will show up sooner or later.

What exhaust and downpipe do you have cause the stock one and the corksport one has an extra O2 bung already.

Look to be the stock down pipe and exhaust. Well stock muffler maybe. Whole exhaust is welded together after a the downpipe. Big ass cherrybomb too.

You should have an unused 02 bung in the J pipe then. Just gotta remove a bolt and you're set.
