Anyone know what recommended torque setting is for oil pan drain plug?

In 50 years of changing my own oil I've never worried about this, but I had a problem on my most recent oil change with the plug washer leaking (seeping). Didn't make itself known for two weeks (550 miles) and then I noticed a couple of drops on the garage floor. I'm thinking maybe I overtorqued that wimpy little aluminum washer (half the thickness of the one on my Miata!).

The 2013 workshop manual says 30-41 N-m or 23-30 ft-lbf. Page 01-11-3.
