i know someone on the forum has hook ups to Perrin, do you have any updates on the release of the products for our MSP's?

i would email them but they just keep telling me, "by the end of the month". they said that back in may, and again back in june. well its july and theres still nothing.

i'm really looking forward to the 3" turboback exhaust that someone in another thread quoted for $750?

Yea I emailed them last month and they told me at the end of the month they will be ready to ship but there is still no product.

I just called a distributor yesterday. Perrin has released the cai and the cat-back both at $275 and $600 respectively.

I just checked about 6 of Perrin's dealers & none of them even have Mazda listed. Perrin's site has Mazdaspeed on the home page, but there is no link yet. I'd be interested to see Perrin's intake because I've seen their parts on my friend's WRX & they are very nice.

There's one in NY, Long Island that has them. If you look on Perrins site in the dealer locator section, it's the shop that is a wholesaler and retailer. Can't remember the name right now.

it's a silicon SRI without a CAL extension. The race pipe is another $150 on top of the catback of $600. They have the exhausts, short shifters, intakes and FMIC kits at Perrin, but as of last week, none had shipped to the dealers.

Does anyone have a link to the intake or the exhaust? I wasnt aware that it was already out

I've checked all the sites & no one has any Perrin products listed online. I'm very interested in this though because Perrin makes good stuff & it's all silicone (which I think is much better than the standard metal pipes other people use). They also make a SRI for every car with the option of converting it into a CAI, which is exactly what I've been waiting for. Other companies just make a CAI & leave it to you to convert it to a SRI (while charging you extra for something you don't want).

Perrin will not be making a CAI extension for the MSP. This is direct from Jeff and Andy. They do not think that there is any reson for it. Maybe enough requests would make it happen. They also made an S-pipe that they will not build because they saw no gains from it. I am skeptical at this last statement. The FMIC requires removal of the impact beam but comes with a new one. The pipes are aluminum on it. If I recall corectly, it does not require any cutting but the piping goes through the factory i/c location.
The test car lives about a mile from me, so maybe I can swing by and get some pics since two weeks ago Perrin's pics were "at the developer" and "will be on the site tomorrow." I have been talking with them about the MSP stuff since they got their MSP almost a year ago. They also have a rear swaybar that is adjustable, a short shifter and they designed a fuel rail, but one guy there told me they were no making it.
