Anyone know anything about factory Nav wiring?

So I just won this eBay auction for a stock navigation setup. It doesn't come with any wiring from what I can tell, although it does look like there is one wire running from the radio display to the nav screen.

I'm hoping that I can just use the nav screen box, remove the factory screen and insert my own 7" lcd. I'm hoping that the controls for the open and close are existing so I can get those working. I don't really need any of the factory nav wiring since I don't plan on using that.

Anyone have any experience with this? Anyone know anything about how the factory nav box open and close mechanism gets it's power? Can I plug and play the radio / HVAC display part with my factory non-nav harness? Either way I'm committed to trying at this point. Call me crazy, but I'm just a sucker for that automated open and close, and even though I know I can do it through other routes like the "Holy Grail", this looked like a good deal for a potential real factory looking solution. Thanks.

The text LCD unit (with VAC and radio display) should be compatible with all Mazdas 6 and should work plug and play.
Now as for powering of the screen motor - I'm not sure. I have a Mazda 6 Training manual, which is pretty old, but it does have LCD and NAV pinouts. However, I'm not sure if I can post it here, PM me about that.

NAV screen replacement for use with a carputer is something I want to do too (after I get my car back from bodyshop this month). So I guess it would be a good idea to keep in touch - two heads are better than one.
I have a mazdaspeed 6 and it came with factory NAV, which I will never use (it does not have the maps for my country). So when I start disassembling the screen, I will be able to look up something for you in terms of wiring.

I found this one link which shows some greek guy replacing his RX8 nav screen with a Xenarc. I guess the procedure on our cars should be somewhat similar:

It's in Greek, I don't understand jack, but the pictures are quite self-explanatory :)

Wow, funny you should say that, I just picked up the nav screen for my MS6. Got it from a wrecked car, but I only got the screen/lcd display. What else do I need? PM me if you have to if anyone knows.
