Because of work I won't have time to install the rear mount for a while. Will just the front one help the feel of the car? On my fOCUS I just installe the rear one (it has a rear one and two side ones [no front]) and it helped tremendously.
i really do need to get around to doing the rear mount...i need someone who knows wtf theyre doing to guide me along though, i looked and i was like **** no. but i was in a hurry at the time.
i have more tools than you can shake a stick at at the auto craft center for 4 bucks an hour with full lift bay...i just didnt have the patience at the time
I also have only the front A/T mount installed. It makes a huge difference... Gets rid of about 75% of the movement of the engine. One of the best mods for the money. I'll be installing the rear when I get more time, to help reduce movement a little more. My advice: GET IT!
I bought from AWR directly. You can buy just the front. This link is for the A/T (softer) mount. You can also find just the M/T front mount and order that separately. They got it to me in about 4 days from placing the order.
Isn't it true that the A/T mount works on M/T trannies, but its softer and has less vibration than the M/T? Also, aren't there 3 total mounts? Front, side, rear? Can you buy the Front and side?
