Just gauging interest. The exhaust is 3" from the downpipe, no cats, your choice of muffler (I recommend the HKS carbon-ti :)), full 304 stainless steel (not pictured). Incredibly clean, deep exhaust note.

$739 - Full 3" exhaust (no cats) from the downpipe w/ N1 style muffler
Option: +$50 for HKS replica muffler (carbon fiber/titanium)
Option: +$200 for real HKS Carbon-Titanium Muffler
Option: +$100 for Highflow Cat

+Shipping

Check Page 6 for Muffler Options!

I'd be interested depending on gains etc. Are there any clearance issues? Terry from spool told me the reason they didn't go with 3" was because there was no way to do it without having any serious issues with clearance.

hmm i dont notice any clearance issues with that exhuast or anything with the routing of a possible 3in exhuast, maybe he was talkin about the turbo elbow part?? the one before the dp starts...there ull have to get a step up type elbow so u can meet the possible dp at 3in.....

whats the price gonna be ??

i have a 3" catback now for a month and there is no rubbing or scraping just to let everybody know.

no he said it gets rid of both of the cats and starts at your downpipe!

lol a mid-pipe or dp can be confusing, im assuming this system starts at the turbo elbow or "mid pipe" and replaces the stock catback and stock "down-pipe" which has the two cats......double checkin that this is correct.....

PEople, the HP gains will vary, from car to car. For several reasons.

1. location-the air temp, and elevation will cause variances with the gains.
2.mods-if you have a totally stock car, and add this exhauyst, you will see minimal gains. with a boost controller, and intake, you will see a higher gain.

hope that helps. :D

i have one for my car. just not installed yet and that is why i went with a 3" catback.

turbo, just like the downpipe, sitting in my computer room until wednesday. i just got done painting all the pipes to match my color scheme and i installed my intercooler last week so on wed i can just hook up all the pipes and turbo(then wire in the piggy back) and be ready for the show on friday

WOW, I know there are several boosted MP3s & P5s, but I didn't know of anyone with a boosted sedan.

Where did you get the downpipe then? All I know of are Protosport, Apex, & iON, but I thought they were all 2.XX.

it came with my turbo.... all the pipes where fabricated there... guess mine just came with a downpipe also

This product bolts up to the stock downpipe (not the elbow off the turbo). You can't fit a pipe on that elbow bigger than ~2.25" because of the bolt studs. Any 3" downpipe you see for sale that bolts up to that elbow has a ~3/4" flare. Replacing the downpipe itself will yield minimal gains.

yeh, im talkin with a fabricator to get a larger elbow made up to work with a 3in dp......i would think replacing the stock dp would offer alot of gain, since the two cats are on it.....

In stock form, the cat assembly is seperate from the downpipe. However, fabricators usually combine the two as one piece.
