I know the Mini Cooper S is claiming 135mph. We should be a bit faster, I would think.

in just the right conditions....weather and road....and if you take the car up to redline .....if you can get there...our cars tend to be drag limited.....you will be at 142 or 143 MPH.....
you can easily do the math.....you know what redline is.....cut it in half and in 5th gear record your speed......double it....and you have the THEORITICAL top speed of the car.

The MS-P was limited to (130MPH) by C&D, but i'm pretty darn sure they ment drag limited cause i don't think the MS-P are governed at all. With the proper road and conditions, and break-in-period the MS-P should do well over 140's.
