2014 CX-5 Touring w/Tech
Searched the forum but haven't found this. I've tried the normal .m3u playlist format but the headunit won't recognize them. Any other methods?

I have a 2014 Touring with Tech Package audio.

M3UExt format works. I use a program called iTunes Export which will copy playlists and files out of iTunes onto a USB stick with various options for putting files in folders. Of course, USB use is crippled by the inability to resume playback after re-starting the car. (See other thread).

Yeah, I've experienced the annoying resume issue. Is that the Mac program I'm seeing on EricDaugherty.com? Looks like the same program name. Is this different from exporting a playlist from iTunes in the m3u format?

Thanks

Yes - that's the correct website, but it's a Windows program that I'm using - see "Open Source Projects" and look for iTunes Export. It has options to select several playlist formats. M3UExt works on my '14 GT + Tech.

One other thing - I've been burning AAC/MP3 files onto data CDs and playing them in the car. Those will resume properly. Only problem there is the limit of 700 MB.
