Msp subframe
P5 oem moog endlinks
Progress 22mm sway bar
Energy Suspension bushings and bracket.
Energy Suspension P/N 9.5158R

First off i had to bend the bracket to make it work. They were flat basically. So ive had a hard time maintaining my suspension setup do to the tabs breaking in the msp subframe or the bracket snapping, all do to daily driving. Any ideas or brackets that will make this work? Or should i switch to adjustable endlinks?

I need some advice people!!!

The energy suspension brackets broke?

If you email Progress they will tell you that the replacement bushing set is the PN you posted. Either way you will have to bend them.

first off, do you have stock struts? the tabs on the stock P5 strut tabs are weak and prone to breaking. the msp tokico blues have their tabs re enforced to handle the extra load of a larger sway bar.
second, yes the energy suspension bushings are flat and must be bent into shape if they are to be used. I did the same thing for mine.

third, how are you driving? I cant tell you how many people I see install a larger rear bar and just drive around like its a normal car. lol With a larger rear bar, you have to slow it down going up driveways, over certain bumps, traintracks, etc... All of these can lead to something breaking. As far as the subframe, I have the msp subframe too and my only issues were the spot welded bolt on the inside of the subframe had broken off so now its a chore getting it all tightened up. but works just fine.
Progress should have given you the proper bushings to fit with the stock brackets.

Im using aftermarket tokico blues with a 2" drop all around on springs. Never broke one of those tabs before. This is like my third lowered car so, I do drive slow and cautiously (the typical). Expect, its even more difficult having a DG lip and Stiff 22mm Progress sway bar.

So ogsk8ter,
Have you always used the racing beat sway bar with the msp subframe, or have you actually used the progress bar with it? The progress brackets that come with the sway bar are too small for the msp frame. I just hate (with the passion) trying to bent those energy brackets to make it work. lol.

If anyone has used the progress sway bar with the msp subframe and knows of some other type of bracket please give me a heads up. If not, I may end up trying to find a racing beat sway bar.

Did you have to use those adjustable endlinks to make your setup work?

HKPRO5,

My tabs in the msp subframe broke first and since it had snowed a lot lately i didnt have the time or patience to get underneath the car to fix it. Then, maybe a week later i noticed it was gone??? But I just think I have too many suspension parts and its tougher driving with that DG lip.

GT-Spec ladder bar, tie bar, and rear strut bar.
Vibrant front strut bar
KMR v-brace and panel
2" Drop with Aftermarket Tokico HP blues
Progress 22mm sway bar.

Pretty solid setup and a lot of fun in the canyons
