when i first got it, it hauled ass everytime you floored it,
but now it feels like a regular car for me (nailbyt)

didn't really notice how fast it is until i drove my wifes
is300 to get gas tonight, gunned that, and it felt
like i was driving a corolla or something.

i have not been able to top 280miles on a tank yet.
i'm flooring it to much haha

need to keep the mod bug away until i pay off my student
loans....getting hard.....

im used to it..
the only thing I still find fun is how it handles.

My last car was a quite a bit faster than this, so this thing already feels like im driving a corolla or something.
hopefully engine management helps me fix that, and helps make it more fun to drive day to day.

Well I bought an 06 GT Mustang just a month or so before my MS3 was set to arrive last year (got tired of waiting) and I still have moments of glee when driving my car. Of course I have 5 months of winter where I don't drive it at all.

What the OP is saying is that he's used-to the performance. So, the car is still fast and everything, it's just that it no longer blows him away.

Like a roller coaster, the first time you ride it it'll be crazy, after 100 rides it'll get a little old.

I hope this doesn't happen to me... we'll see.

I think he was talking to me..
Saying it felt like a corolla was probably a bit of an exaggeration.
But it was a turbocharged integra gsr.
It pulled extremely hard. I never took it to the track, but being so light and revving up so high, having like a 5000 rpm powerband was extremely nice, and it pulled all the way through.

The ms3 wasnt exactly a downgrade or anything, it's a whole lot nicer, just not as quick.

I became a little numb to the stock power and handling (11,000+ miles). That happens all the time, for example I have a 620hp/650tq '69 Camaro that I feel like I could use more power in!? I just got a bunch of mods on my MS3 though, and although I'm probably not helping with your mod bug situation, it's amazingly fun to drive all over again. (drive)

I have all sorts of different power sitting in the garage, so I never get used to any of them. It just depends on my mood on what I want to drive :)

I'm pretty used to it..... so occassionally I flat-shift (once a month) cause it gives me the same feeling I had when I drove it off the lot

I knew I'd get used to it, thats why I've held off so long with any power mods. And when I finally get them, I'm doing them one at a time so it's like driving a new car once every 3-4 months

what i really hate..... when I have people in the car, it feels sooo slow but they're amazed at how quick it is. That also helps me relive the feeling of power vicariously, lol

My previous car was an MS6 so I was already used to this kind of power. The MS3 has a different power delivery though, so it keeps the car fun for me. My trick is not to floor it too often, that way when you do it feels quick.

you think its hard to keep off it normally? Try driving to work in your steel toes. I usually drive my truck to work so the boots dont bother me, but when i take my car, man i cant keep from slamming the accelerator

yesterday i had pretty much got in and was used to the pickup with the SRI.. but the MBC in there and it is a WHOLEEEEEE new experience.. It PINS you to your seat and i only have it running like 17psi and it was raining so i couldnt really get on it!
