You mean the one that comes on to remind you your headlights are on? Never mind that you can see the headlights shining in front obf you and know they are on allready??
NHavent tried it yet but its not a bad idea... I can understand a fog light on indicator but the headlight on indicator is a head scratcher......

yes! i would like to think that i am smart enough to remember to check! a fog light indicator i understand but headlights? does mazda think we are all dumb? :)

Plus its beeps when you get out of the car if they are still on... But it seems like wayyyy to much work just for a simple light..

there are a lot of stupid people out there that don't understand the simple concept of turning on their lights when it is dark, and depend on idiot lights like this. i see them all the time....its sad who we give driving privilege to.

Add to the fact that the lights will auto off after the car is off for 30 seconds and the reminder light is a non issue.....

yeah that light doesnt blend.. one of the main reasons for buying this car was the sharp ass interior.. that needs to go.. id just take the dash apart and put tape on it.. but, im too lazy..

i may do it. in other cars i have owned, you could take the cluster out and then the small bulb without any harm. i am sure this is the same.

i was able to "turn" the light off. i took the guage cluster out, seperated the clear plastic front, the black backing and the white back cover off. i gently peeled away a small amout of the black face to cover the headlight indicator with black electrical tape. took 15mins. looks much better. there are two screws holding the plastic around cluster and three holding the cluster in. two "quick connects" to undo and the rest is to carefully pry open the cluster. very easy
