Anybody else have a valve cover seeing boost???

Hmm for some odd reason my valve cover is seeing boost...when building all my other turbo cars I was taught that the vavle cover seeing boost is a no no. now yes the valve cover is always going to see a little pressure, hence the need for a pcv valve, but this is a substantial amount of pressure...
 
called a boost leak test...set the engin to TDC and use a fill device to pressurize the turbo system...
 
what you want to do is take those two hoses that go from the intake manifold to the valve cover off, then seal it on the intake manifold side, (I got mine welded shut) then get an oil catch can and put in the place where the hose used to go, and the one on the right side of the valve cover. The oil catch can gets its vacuum from, before the intake part of the turbo housing and your filter.

you are see boost in the valve cover due to the boost going through these hoses.

you are see boost in the valve cover due to the boost going through these hoses.
i tried this and hand the catch can venting into the intake pipe after the maf but before the turbo (where my valve cover vent usually goes) and it filled the catch can up instantly...
