Any solution for a sweaty back?

I got the leatherette seats, and even with the car reasonably cool my back gets sweaty.

Anyone got a good solution for this? Seat covers? One of those taxi-driver beaded seat backs (half-joking)?

Mmm, not really sure other than AC on full blast ha. Honestly though, I get the same thing with cloth seats - except the sweat absorbs into the seats. Sick. I much prefer the leatherette seats as they are easy to clean and look better. :)

I agree, although cloth seats are always far more grippy. Leather and leatherette do tend to be harder to stain and easier to clean up.

So, I bought one of those wooden-bead seat covers. Seems to do the trick.
It's not perfect - it's not like I have an air-conditioned mesh back or anything, but it's at least as good as the cloth seats. As an added benefit, the narrower strip of beads that runs up the back of the seat reduces the bucket shape of the seat, an improvement for wide-shouldered folks like me. The only drawback I've found is that the beads do lift me up about half an inch or so, reducing my head-clearance and forcing me to put the seat in its lowest-possible position.
