Any silver MSP onwers? Not titanium!

I think the silver MSP looks to much like a regular es protege. Just by the colar, i guess silver is to common. But it still looks nice.

pirana, the under drive pullys are made by Unorthodox Racing you should be able to get them at apexr1.com i think they were around 200.00 ill try and get my buddys digi cam so i can take some pics. the silver is made just for the msp it called sunlight silver metalic

thanks!

I like the silver, but like 3.5t said, it looks too much like a regular protege. There is only on Titanium left in the DFW area, and its vandalized :(

yes, it has metallic flake in it. But, so does the blue but it's nothing like the orange and titanium/yellow etc

I've seen the same silver on other mazda's, and it doesn't have the same depth to it as the the other colors. Don't get me wrong, I love silver, I'm just saying the metallic isn't quite the same.

i picked silver because its so clean and hides dirt well titanium is cool but there are so many so i went with silver

Man the only titanium in your area is vandalized!!! that sucks! I haven't seen any 3.5MSP around socal i guess there not to popular around here.

yeah it sucks, cause I really like the titanium, but the dash is all scratch and f*ck up. they can replace the center panel, but I dont think they will go for the whole dash replacement. And even if they do, you know they wont do a good job.

I thought the msp they used in project msp in turbo magazine was silver. Just thought it was cause the carbon fiber hood didn't look good on it at all IMO and I remember seeing a titanium with a carbon fiber hood and loved it so I assumed the car was silver but I don't think it specifically says anywhere in the magazine.

pirana i think sum dealerships in austin still have some... sorry but i think the silver is my least favorite color... but for sum odd reason i get the feeling when pirana is done with it i just might like it the most :-)

I've claimed that since it was made public that silver would be released it would be the best color to own. Such a sleeper color and with the dark wheels it really creates a nice contrast. You can mod in any color you like and the car will look and remain looking cleaner than any other color available. Then again, I just like boring old silver. The only thing that silver doesn't do that black does is hide body gaps and seams in the construction. Get Silver! I'll trade ya!

Check on page 2 also...there are some good pics there.

The MSP I've been looking to buy has what've got to be the 2003 wheels, not 2003.5. I swear they're silver, not the dark color of the newer ones. I asked the salesperson, and he said how that couldn't be possible, that' they'd have to put a sticker on the car if that was the case, so that's not the case.

This was the second silver 2003.5 that I've seen in their showroom, and the first one certainly had darker colored rims.

Any thoughts?

Vic, just ask them to throw in the new dash as part of the deal, it costs less than that silve trim around the radio anyways... and install it yourself. It would be an ideal time to install an alarm with the dash off.. and I would buy the old dash.... ;)

I too purchased a Silver speed. When I contacted Mazda for my production number, I was told by a gentleman named "Joe" that I was number 301 out of 1000 Silver's to be made. The dealer I purchased from had 6 speed's on the lot, 3 of which were titanium, 1 blue, 1 silver and a left over orange that they offered a sharper discount on due their inability to move that color. They have had it for over 6 months.
