He is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. We just got him about a month ago... I had never even heard of the breed before!

i hadnt heard of them either until my grandpa came home with one about 4 years ago. nice little dog, very rarely ever barks and very friendly around people and other animals. he really does not like to cooperate for pictures though haha

Sorry it's a link, but here is a neat shot I did with my 50mm 1.8:

A Bug's Perspective

And while we are on the topic of moons, here is my attempt from last year sometime. The lens was a 75-300 f/4.5-5.6 Tamron 1:2 Macro- I think it cost $149.99 new or something...Talk about cheap lens! And the body is just a Rebel XS. Thanks for looking!

well thats the thing i have an 18-55mm and 55-200mm.
so in between that range would give me a nice middle ground prime lense.

i figure if i want any wider, id just throw my other lense on... but live with slight less clarity.

those are the three lenses i own 18-55, 55-200, 35mm prime. i liked the option of being a little bit wider, theres just sometimes you cant take a step further back.

aye. i still cant decide for sure, but prolly get the cheaper 50mm 1.8 for xmas.
and save $ in 2011 for the 35mm...

forum member drizzoh posted on 6crew some nice pics with his 35mm. not sure if he posted em here, but just for example of the 35mm lowlight capability...

nice eh?

welcome to owning a CKCS :)

My wife and I were introduced to the breed through a friend, and we took home our tricolor pup about a year ago now.
