My stock tires had this problem too. The hardcore wear was mostly on the front tires though. I have neo gens now, but I haven't really looked at them as they only have about 1000 miles on them.

as i said, my stock dunlops did the same exact thing, only worse. and when it happened to me, i saw a bunch of threads about it... i guess its the dunlops fault, because my kuhmos dont wear like that...with almost 6k miles on them.

my first set i had to replace at 15k because the same problem. dunlop split the cost with me. I have the same exact tires now, and they are doing it again, but not even close to as bad.
