Hi everyone, i'm pretty new to this forum, but then again i've only had my mazdaspeed protege for about 2 months now, and i love the car, i used to have a 98 accord that was pretty modified, but i've already started modifying this vehicle as much as i can, due to my budget lolz.

Anyways i was just wondering if there are any other MN people with mazdaspeeds that have done PERFORMANCE modifications to their vehicles, so far this is my list of things i have for my car

Greddy TypeS blow off valve
Autometer Dual gauge pod
Autometer Boost gauge
Autometer Oil psi gauge
Turbo XS high performance boost controller
Custom Short ram intake

i'm still saving up for hardpipes, but like i said i just wanted to know if anyone in mn has had their cars mildly modified, well any replys would be nice, thanks, oh yeah, i'm from Blaine, MN.

errr thats not me, prolly some other dude haha, i dun think he's on the forums but ionno, maybe... hmmm arden hills eh? i used to live over there.. on mccracken lane, by the super target, anyways, kool so i'm not the only dude doing mods to this vehicle, hmmmmm RAWYZF if you get ur downpipe on, we should meet up, i wanna hear how loud it is, cuz my mom will trip if i get an exhaust system... my old accord was like ******* loud, and it was slammed to the ground, hahaha anywas... hit me up on aim or something or just reply... yanyaniscool is my aim name.

ummm i work at the checker auto on lexington and lake drive, just let me know when you'll be stoping by, cuz i mainly work mornings, so yeah, hmm 96 and hamline eh? my mom owns a shop by there... kinda by northoaks, its a tailor shop.

no pix, cuz its not installed yet bro, sitting right next to me... i always look at it and wish i could install it lolz... i'm saving up to get my hardpipes, then i'll install everything at once, i just wanna do everything together, but i'll get the exhaust later.. i'm thinking about the GREDDY SP cuz its quiet i hear...

elite isn't bad... but then again i'm paying this dude that is a DSM professional to install this stuff for me, he's worked on all my friends and cousins turbo cars, and he does a great job, but how much is elite charging ya? i bought the PHANTOM style of gauges... what about you? and did you get the FULL A PILLAR MOUNT, or just the dual gauge pod and screws into it?

Got the ultra light gauges, and they said 1-2 hours labor, so 75-150 bucks. It's worth it to me though, as it's done right. Also got the full A pillar.

thats kool man, i didn't get the full apillar, i got the gauges for only 30 bux a pop for the phantom style, and the gauge pod for only 25 shipped, i was thinking about letting them do it too, but then ionno.. i'll jsut have my boi do it for me, he owns street scenes tint if you know that place... he opened up a new shop, if you wanan get ur windows tinted let me know, i'll hook it up

I'm in MN too, but haven't done much yet, I am in line to get the Ion 3" TB exhaust though. Currently live in Eden Prairie, but am moving to Plymouth in 2 months. I do have an Autometer 2 pod full pillar with defi boost and A/F gauge.

Anyway, just thought I'd say hi.
