OH JESUS ...... i just got bad news..... they sent to the wrong address... it was supose to b sent to MY place.. but we used my friend's card to buy... and they sent it to the card owner address... even tho we DID specify shipping address... and then the other day my friends brother was the only one home and didnt have the $ to pay UPS for the import tax.. so they took back the item.. and i have NO F-in idea where the F is the exhaust now........... sent back to ken??!? good job...

looks like UPS on the canadian side had it held up for a week with thier own issues. last note on it says that the recipient is holding the exhaust for a specified delivery date by the recipient, so its not coming back to me. 1Z 289 A6R 68 9316 935 5 should be a good tracking number if you need to reference it with UPS or the customs broker on your end. keep in mind i dont stock these in house due to thier size and cost - and racing beat doesn't ship to CAN for me. they come to me then to you. it left my hands four days before it even reached the canadian border. i'm sorry it took so long to reach your hands, really, i am.

Ken doesn't seem to like Canadian business... he never gave me a tracking number either, but everyone else I've ordered from has (dunno)

yeah thats right, i'm an anti-canadian bigot. on your header, as i explained back then, they came from korea, to california, then to me. thanks to demand on the headers i can't ever keep enough in stock and getting them from korea to me with a stop at CA in the middle takes no less than two weeks. i've had a waiting list on that particular item since january. i got 12 in this week and poof they are all gone already.

if i ship USPS people complain it takes too long. if i ship UPS or FedEx i get complaints about duties and tracking thier stuff on USPS.com is a joke. people who ordered gauge rings from me are saying the same thing, and those were ALL shipped global priority mail. if i don't mark stuff as gifts or at lower values i get harped on. that is what i dont like about shipping internationally. granted this is not all the time but it happens enough to drive me crazy.

FYI, you can notify UPS to tell them that you will clear customs yourself. The actual taxes/duties charged for the item are minimal if any, but chances are, the brokerage fee they want is ridiculous. All you need to do is tell them you're coming, and go to UPS to pick up some customs paperwork, then go to Customs Canada to get the item cleared, and go back to UPS to pick it up.

Shouldn't you be taking care of existing customers before taking new orders? If you did I would have been happy to buy more stuff from you. I even offered to make a different deal on the header, but apparently you don't like responding to PM's.

Hey I need to know what is going on. It's been a month since I last heard from you. Are you going to warranty my broken OBX header or am I going to have to take it to get it re-welded? I'm sure the exhuast leak isn't good for it, and my motor is making a weird rattling sound now... I hope its just the header vibrating

i am having a hard time reaching OBX in terms of a replacement. how much were you quoted to re-weld it? i would pay your shop source to do the job if i cannot get a hold of OBX.

That depends if I take it to the muffler shop and have them reweld it or if I take it off myself and have a buddy tig weld it and hope everything is ok after... which would you prefer? I'd be open to a good deal on an AEM SRI or some AWR motor mounts if you want to settle it that way. Let me know.

I had my header rewelded. I would consider us even if you waive the extra shipping charge to canada on a front & rear big brake kit with stainless steel brake lines. I wrecked a caliper and I'd rather upgrade than replace. Let me know ASAP if this works for you.

There are plenty of other vendors that are more than happy to take my money in exchange for a little bit of customer service. I'll be ordering new struts, sway bars and endlinks soon too, but not from you (glare)

I ordered my header from Ken and it took about 2 months to get here. Got my RB catback from Steve @ NSN and it only took about 3 weeks. Ken doesn't seem to like Canadian business... he never gave me a tracking number either, but everyone else I've ordered from has (dunno)

I have to TOTALLY DISAGREE with this. I am sorry for your experience, but when I ordered my OBX header in March of this year, I got it from Ken in about a week. My RB exhaust took a little longer, but not uncommon for aftermarket parts. Ken was also very easy to get a hold off through email, and I always got tracking numbers.

After reading the rest of the thread I am surprised and I don't know what went wrong, but I would definitely recommend Protegegarage for both Canadian and US customers from my experience with them. UPS on the other hand is another story...but what can we do(shrug)

I've received my orders fairly quickly from Ken. At most it's a week and i'm in Winnipeg. If you're concerned about brokerage, just clear the package yourself.
