I assume these are front seat only? Also, I assume that they are covers that we install ourselves. How difficult is installation?

well, i'm neither. if it comes together. i'm not touching any of the $. it's going to www.nwautoleather.com . and i don't work them. just a P5 owner trying to get a better price on a product.

so i don't think either applies to me. the G/B from last year, met no problems and had many happy peeps :shrug

but he didn't even do anything.. he copied the thread over from last year's thread...

anyways, if i had the cash i'd be on it in a heartbeat. i emailed NWAutoleather like last week, and they said that it'd be almost a grand to get it done, so they're definitely giving great prices on the group buys. If you guys really are gonna do another one this year, I'm going to the bank to see if i can't get a small loan. :D

Why not just opt for it when getting the car like 99.9999% of us who have leather did?

I can say that stock leather isn't bad and seems to be holding up pretty well. I have only conditioned once in the last 24K miles. No sweating that I can recall so i find it pretty breathable.

Point is...I just don't get why anyone would buy leather after the fact.

I got my '02 P5 in June '02. Leather wasn't an option on the '02. Some dealers in my area offered leather as a "dealer option" but they just got Northwest to do the leather anyway. Then they charged the buyer an arm and a leg more than if the customer just went to Northwest himself.

we bought a left over '03 in '04. beggers can't be choosers.

I couldn't find a leather interior p5 anwhere in Connecticut to even look at, let alone one in the proper color/with proper features.

i have cloth in my car and i love it. yes leatehr is fantastic but still in the cold = no fun. do the p5's with leather have heated seats? if not it would be kinda dumb to get leather INHO since it would be hella cold in the winter and hella hot in the summer. but just my 2 cents.

ahhh, ok. Excuse my ignorance then. I know when I specifically listed the options I wanted, they found a car that had everything but leather. They offered to have it done and it would cost 1K$ if they had a shop do it. I said no because I didn't want a brand new car to be already taken apart just for leather option. They ended up finding exactly what i wanted so it all worked out it was a 2003.5 if that matters.

Leather is nice though. The off black leather and interior kicks ass and I wouldn't have it any other way. Makes the interior look much much better than the cloth setup imo. I have had a couple people comment when they get it about the leather. They didn't expect it to be there, but I think they liked it.

i was in on the group buy last yr, i found the quality, price and service excellent. it took me a good 5 hours to install. i got the seat heater so no cold #ss!!

here's some pics....i opted for a few extras, seat heater, silver insert and stiching and i covered the arm reat too. enjoy, i am!!

also, if you are ordering from the states you need to give northwest your ss# (customs issue)
