Any comment by owners of 2012 Mazda 3 Touring Hatch?

The Mrs and I are new owners to Mazda...she drives her CX5 and so far is pleased with it (I am somewhat enjoying it too) considering the lovely possible looks on this model check out the pic I found (hopefully I did it right)! My question -- my Acura TL now about 10 years old is showing slight age and with no warranty coverage I dont want to have repair bills surprise me. So who out there owns one of these Mazdaspeed 3 Touring models w/turbo engine??? Kindly provide your hoenst feedback in regards to day to day driving experience. Thanks!

i have the 3 2.5 hatchback 2010 and i love it, i have seen the turbo and there nice even drove one but honestly as far as a mid level stock turbo the masdaspeed3 is definitely the best on the market for your money, but in this economy i am not sure you want the turbo since it goes really fast when you can ...(we have speedlimits) so its pointless just for speed and then you also dont get great gas mileage. My 2.5 gets up to speed very quickly for a few yards i can keep up with my friends 3.8/ genesis r spec so yeaaa its got speed gas mileage and looks so i would say look into non turbo hatchbacks unless your dead set on it and want to upgrade just dont make it a spic mobile rice rocket

You could put away your "car payments" into a new car fund. This is a fund you can dip into when your car needs repairs, but by the time you know it, you'll have enough to pay cash for a brand new car. A 10 year old TL still seems like a baby.
