Any Body have pics of the RPMC turbo inlet. any reviews?

I don't know how to insert the pictures on here, but the stock turbo inlet has alot of restriction and it gets narrow/thin in the middle of the pipe. The difference I felt with the rpmc turbo inlet was probably just the noise. My cai is alot louder and I can hear the turbo spool. I can't hear my stock bpv like I use to. I think it was a good upgrade, I think I need to do something for my exhaust though because It seems like I get too much air coming in but it ain't getting out quick enough

Does your turbo seem to spool up faster as the info says on the protegegarage website.. you dont feel any power?

Turbo definitely spools faster.
One would have to get a before and after dyno to see the gains.
This thing is just like adding a powerpipe to a SC'ed set up. I say there are definite gains...how much...I'm not sure.
Would I do it again...you bet. :D

How involved is the install of this thing if I already have a SRI. It looks like that guy took his battery out to get some more room in there. Does the RPMC come with instructions for install? thanks in advance.

Here is a good one.

damn that looks nice, now I just have to scrape together some cash and make it happen. I think I will go with the race pipe first just to even things out a tad. Chief thanks for that picture by the way.

I want one BAD! But its such a dridiculously high price for such a small part that should have already come with our intake systems. If this makes the turbo spool faster and whine more sounds like a winner to me :)

I think you would have a hard time replicating the quality of this piece.
Unless you are a certified aluminum welder with mandrel bending equipment,
powdercoating equipment and polishing equipment. You could have someone
build it for you after you designed it and then test fit and modify it to fit
properly. You do have to pay those peoples wages and pay for the materials.
I think if you would look into doing this yourself you might see how much work
is involved in something like this.
I think it is funny that people who have probably
never designed or fabricated anything serious in there life decide how much
something should cost to produce based on what they want to pay solely.
I am sure you can throw some cheap thing together like the guy on the other
site that looks like crap and throws CELs. I personally have done design and
fabrication of parts in the past and don't mind paying for quality.
You know what. You get what you pay for. So go ahead and get
you some cheap thing and see how happy you are with it. I personally will
always pay for quality. It will pay off in the end.
By the way I have no affiliation with this project except as a buyer.

I want one too and been wanting one for a while. How many companies make turbo inlets for the disi?? I know RPMC makes one and Cobb supposedly has one coming out soon. So what I'm saying is what are the options and prices??

EDIT: Oh yeah, doesn't ATP make one too? $275!? I thought the rpmc was bad!!

I got my rpmc for $215 I think? I forgot, I just got it powder coated and I think the ceramic was an extra $25
