Any Black CX-9's with Black Powder Coated OEM Wheels?

I'm tossing the idea around of powder coating our OEM 18" wheels either gloss black or satin black, which would be a lot cheaper than buying a new set of black wheels. (powder coating cost around $300). I have the bumpers on my other truck powder coated gloss black, and it has held up good and looks great, seems to match my paint perfectly.

Has anyone powder coated their wheels black, on a black CX-9? Post up some pics if you have. Thanks!

We don't have ours powdercoated, but did get a set of Drag 18" wheels for $440 shipped from Discount Tire, before winter.

An alternative to the powdercoating is spray on plasti-dip. It's very durable and will only cost you about $10-$20 for the project. Also, you can peel it right off if you don't like the look, and no damage will be done to the wheel. It stands up well to daily driving and rough road conditions too. If you like the look, then you can have them powdercoated at a later date if you want something permanent.

cool, thanks. I just bought 5 cans of plastidip to do some interior mods and my 2nd set of wheels for my truck, will use them as guinea pigs before spraying the cx-9 wheels.

Is there anywhere I can see a picture of your black cx-9 with the black wheels?

***edit- nevermind, I'm am idiot, just clicked the link in your sig, looks good!

Thanks, I like the look. It's not for everyone, but I dig it.
