The SB's seem reasonble, but the head prices seem WAY out of line... I can buy six heads for the Cobra at the price of the X heads...

The X head at $2,000 even seems high, but considerable...

a core charge is when they charge you and extra amount of money (in this case in the $600 range more then likely) upfront then you ship then the used part (in this case your block) back and they give you your core charge back.

edit: beat me to it

Yeah a core charge is when you get an engine (or whatever) at a reduced cost, with the agreement that you send in your existing engine to them.

like the wagner short block they have a $600 core charge (i think), i'd let them keep the $600 and i'd keep the stock one as a back incase kaboom!

didn't beat you by much, must be the T1 here at work with 2 people on it)

I would love to know how they are justifying those HP numbers. Sounds like they are just saying that the internals can handle that much in theory. I'd love to see someone push 700HP on an FS, but until the day that Ministry becomes a prophet (ala "Jesus Built My Hotrod") I just don't see it happenning.

They have a FS-DE pusing 750 HP, Check the new Import Racer magazine, they have it in there. A 3rd Gen protege FS-DE running 9's
