Another Rim/Tire size question

Just took a friends 13 Mazda 5 GT out for a spin as I wanted to re-experience the way it handled. I had a 12 5 GS for a year and liked the handling, it feels like a bigger 3 and that's exactly what it is. Well, after getting it out on the highway and also getting up to speed it from a stop feels better than my CX-5. No mods on my friends 5, its stock and its the way I remember it handling.

Has anyone experienced the same or? Just had its first oil change and radio firmware upgraded a few days ago. The 19's weight wouldn't have anything to do with it, would it, at least that's the only factor I can see that might?

Maybe the CX5 it's higher too.
Bigger wheels, slower pickup.
What is the weight difference between the two cars?

BTW... this is a mazda 5:

why are we comparing and talking tire size with a CX5?

Two different vehicles will handle differently... regardless of tire size.

unless you meant CX5 when mentioning mazda 5, i am not sure what kind of answer you are looking for.

Mazda 5 is 1569KG
Mazda CX-5 AWD is 1604KG
...so nothing significant in weight, Cx-5 has 26HP more overall and at a lower RPM ( 5 is 158HP @ 6000rpm, CX-5 is 184HP @ 4000rpm for AWD version) so it could be the ground clearance and the wheel size?

No kidding the CX-5 is much higher (clearance and CG) and a 14 AWD GT weighs 3500 pounds, pretty hefty.

I doubt measured actual handling performance of 5 is any better.
