My next modification a Star Trek Enterprise "Deflector Shield".
And then Lasers and Proton Torpedos. (rlaugh)

makes me wonder how many MSPs are left out there in the world. it's clearly a shrinking number... but i guess there's no way to really know.
anyone venture a guess?

Just a ballpark guess, but I'd say overall there are less than 80% of them left already. For the Spicys, I'd say the attrition rate is worse than that.

we should start a Spicy count thread to see how many we have on here?? maybe people on here can account seeing others that may not be on this forum. i know for a fact there is one other spicy ~in herndon, VA that may not be on this forum. the couple times i've seen it, it appears to be driven by a middle aged woman maybe late 30's mid 40's. she's always going the other direction with no chances of catching her to get a good look.

Stick around for a year or two and you'll see for yourself. A lot of spicys have been lost. We just lost another to a flash flood in the St. Louis area. Many have been totalled in horrific accidents as well. Dr. Sound rolled his about 15 times down into a ravine in Cali, and it's still there... there's no good way to get it out. Someone in Kennesaw, Ga wrapped theirs completely around a pole and was killed in that one. I've seen pics of them rear-ended, front-ended, you name it. I'd lay money that no more than 60% (400) of the U.S. market spicys are left.

I don't know that I buy that there's a curse. Logic holds that the type of person that would want a car like that is likely to be the type of person to push it to its limits. I'm glad I'm not like that... (naughty)

Spicy MSPs have a curse.

Shoot...when I repainted my turbo Miata Spicy Orange over in Turkey...it wasn't long until I got into an accident there...hit an oil patch on the highway and kissed the guardrail.
